Why November 6th, 2012 will be a Historic Day

When many of us were in Junior High in 1979, Iranian revolutionaries attacked the US embassy and held American Citizens hostage for 444 days.  The sitting President did sweet F-All.  And when he did, good men who served this country in our military forces died because the president ignored what his military advisers told him and eventually the bodies of these brave soldiers were displayed like trophies by the radical Khomeini government.  Sadly, the comparisons of Obama to Carter are more accurate than ever.

In the last 2 days 3 embassies have been attacked, a US Ambassador was killed along with 3 other Americans.  It is being surmised based on reports of the timeline of events that while the US Ambassador was still unaccounted for, our current President may have went to sleep knowing that the Ambassador was unaccounted for.  It is also being reported that the Libyan security forces did little to protect the embassy and may have tipped off the attackers to the location of the Ambassador who was hiding in a secondary building at the Embassy.  Finally, it is being reported that the contingent of Marines at the embassy was well below the normal level.

So far our president has rattled a rhetorical sword but has kept on campaigning.  And the main stream media have now been caught coordinating questions to create a gotcha moment during a press conference that would embarrass GOP Presidential candidate Mitt Romney.  Meanwhile President Obama is giving one on one interviews with Miami DJs and Telemundo, fielding moronic questions about rapper Pitbull or softball/set-up questions on a Spanish-language TV station that allowed him to put out policy talking points and not have to answer serious questions.  And when he did address the major media, the President took no questions.

Domestically, the economy is still in a hole despite multiple stimulus packages and investments in alternative (unproven) energy sources, and the healthcare reforms will be devastating (I know this first hand as someone close to me works for a major company that has changed their healthcare to mirror Obamacare and it is a nightmare of epic proportions).  Gas prices are rising (while this link addresses Ohio gas prices, here on Long Island prices have risen up to 15 cents per gallon in two days) and the current administration refuses to allow domestic drilling or to increase refining capacity.

Hope and Change is dead.  It is an abject failure.  Our President was not qualified for the job when he got it and he has not grown into the office.  He began his administration on a global apology tour, targeted at the very people attacking our embassies now, and signaled that American was moving from a stance of addressing issues head on to a position of appeasement, apology and bowing to leaders of other countries.  He is the emptiest of empty suits and another 4 years is something we cannot allow.  This has nothing to do with his race or creed.  It has everything to do with him being a rank amateur at leadership who has surrounded himself with sycophantic technocrats who view the United States and the world as some sort of half-assed test laboratory for their useless policies.

On November 6th, we have to put an end to experiments in domestic and foreign policy and replace it with a more sober leadership that acts on facts and serious policy initiatives and not on feelings and a need to be liked.

How did you spend the 9/11 Day of Rememberance – Some People Should be Ashamed

In 2009, President Obama declared Sept 11 to be Patriots Day and described it as a National day of service and remembrance.  Why the mention of it being a day of service and why he mentioned that first is beyond me.  Pearl Harbor Day is solely a day of remembrance but that is an a story for another day.

So how did the Obama Campaign, some Maryland Democrats and NBC’s Today Show remember and perform acts of service to honor those who lost their lives 11 years ago.  Lets take a peek and see.

The President, along with GOP Presidential Candidate Romney both pledged to suspend negative campaigning and all campaigning for the day.  Romney gave a foreign policy speech in Nevada.  I would have preferred him to simply release the statement he did but he did not attack the President so he gets some credit for not attacking his opponent.  The same cannot be said of the President.  His campaign posted an attack ad on the internet (which will appear on TV eventually) claiming that a Romney administration would be dangerous for women.  Then he sent Bill Clinton to Florida to do a little campaigning.   I guess since Mr. Obama was not out there himself he can claim he did not break the promise.  Or can he?

(While the Pres was chatting about Pitbull with the Pimp with a Limp, his administration acted on the embassy attacks in Egypt and Libya in typical fashion)

Meanwhile, Maryland, two dolts who are seeking elected office performed acts of service for themselves in a way they deemed patriotic considering the day.  If the state of Maryland sees fit to elect these two dolts, you deserve what you pay for.  But I would question one aspect of the column I linked.  The one dolt who said it was patriotic to fund raise on 9/11 is an ass but the other holding his annual “Jamaican Me Crazy” party is just as daft as a fund raiser on 9/11.
Finally, the winner of the most moronic way to remember the 9/11 attacks.  While the rest of the media and the nation were participating in a moment of silence, NBC went with an equally relevant story on their Today Show.  Matt Lauer, you are the true heir to Edward R. Murrow and you will surely win an award for this ground breaking story.

To any who read this post and the blog as a whole, you will see a lot of links back to Breitbart.  I would love to use multiple resources and search for as many as possible but the mainstream media has this horrible habit of not reporting all of the truth, just the truth they want you to believe.

For Those Innocents Who Lost Their Lives 11 Years Ago Today

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
